So it turns out that 2020 wasn't the year to get married. 1st August 2020 didn't quite have a ring to it after all.
We aim to keep you all regularly up to date with our wedding plans for July 2021.
Keep an eye for important updates and further information for our big day.
So it all began on the 11th December 2015. It was a cold and wet night in London and we both (separately) visited the Royal Albert Hall to witness Kylie Minogue sing her little heart out to a number of Christmas ballads.
Of course we knew each other for a short time before this special date. A very special mutual friend introduced us in a bar in Soho but it was the night of Kylie Christmas that changed our future.
It begun with a simple hold of our pinky's
So...we hold Kylie Minogue accountable for all of this.
We met frequently at various bars and restaurants in central London while we were "dating". We chatted and got to know each other. We laughed, we joked, we felt safe together. It was quite a unique feeling for both of us. One particular treat was a gorgeous evening in the Scarfe's Bar within the Rosewood London. The hours flew by as we enjoyed each others company in the cosy environment of this particular bar.
We met on many private occasions in April 2016. Time went by and we enjoyed our time together more and more. It was special however it was a tiny secret from others. So we decided that Eurovision 2016 was our chance for the big reveal. We arrived together at Eurovision party.
SURPRISE!!!
No one seemed to flinch. No shock?
We loved the feeling of being a couple amongst our friends.
You may or may not know this but we have become keen collectors of art. One artist stands out for both of us. It all started with this image "Full Metal Twiggy" by JJ Adams.
Well, the rest is history. We will bore you to death if you ask.
Travelling to various spots around the globe has become a big part of our life. Any break away from Walthamstow is always enjoyed from start to finish. (Often booked after a bottle or two)

Stunning views over Shaftesbury Avenue, and London’s iconic skyline, the terrace is the ideal spot for our celebration. Don’t worry….the roof terrace has a fully retractable roof to accommodate the unpredictable English weather. Just make sure to pack your shades and sun cream.
We want to include everyone in our celebration however the venue does operate an adult only venue after the hours of 10:00pm in the evening. We would love all the children to stay but we must abide by their rules.
There will be no uncomfortable table plan. You won't have to speak to anyone you don't want to. We do want you to relax and enjoy the party. We would love it to be social so why not make new friends by getting to know the rest of our guests. You're a friendly bunch. Go for it!
There are numerous hotels nearby. Most are unlikely to offer an early arrival to ensure you gain access to change in to your fancy frocks. It is sadly the way London hotels work. Get your booking in quick though. Drop us a message if you need a hand getting something booked.
Food will be serviced throughout the day. We will also keep you hydrated on that hot roof terrace. Century Club have a fully stocked bar with a very wide range of drinks available throughout. No need to bring your own.
Oh. The bar will be prepared with drinks at 2:30pm on the day so make sure you are there sharp for a 3:00pm start.
It will be a long day. We begin the fun and games at 3:00pm with a short ceremonyat the Century Club. It won't take long...sure all we need to say is "i do" Right? We are penciling in a close to the party at 12:30am however we know the venue can remain open for a little longer. Let's party and see how it goes.
There is no expectations from us to recieve a specific gift. We do not have a wedding list, there is no future travel booked and no immediate honeymoon plans. However some of you are insistent to gift something for our wedding day.
You may or may not know that we have become very fond of collecting art. We have a mutual love for the art that hangs in our little Walthamstow home. The art tells a story of our past...where we got it, why we loved it so much and the fun we had viewing it (often after a boozy afternoon in a gallery) If you feel that you REALLY want to gift something then we would be grateful to receive a gift of money that we can put towards a unique commission. Art will always continue to be a passion and love for both of us and we would love to hang something in memory of our special day that we have created in collaboration with our chosen artist.
We think we have the music covered but know that there will be one track that we will miss from the "must play" wedding play list. If you drop us a note on the RSVP page and let us know what you would like to hear on the day. We'll try our best to get the DJ to play it.
We want you all to be comfortable. It's going to be the hottest day of 2021* therefore please wear something that you feel comfortable in.
* not guaranteed....just our wish!!
We have created a private Facebook group. (Click on the Facebook icon at the bottom of the page) The group is a private location for people to join the fun leading up to our wedding. Of course photos and videos can be posted on the page for all to see when the big day comes.
The venue does not have access to parking. We would strongly advise grabbing a black cab or booking an Uber from your hotel/home.
If you drive and manage to park in central London. Don't forget the congestion and ULEZ charge.
